Alex Jones announces 'last day' on BBC The One Show and says 'that's it'
Alex Jones announced it was the last episode of The One Show for a while as she revealed the show wouldn't return until next year.

The Welsh presenter returned to the BBC show on Friday night for her last spell of work before Christmas.
She revealed she would be taking a temporary break until January 6 before the show closed with a performance from Tom Grennan shortly after he lost out on Christmas number one to Wham!
Alex, 47, told viewers: "Well that's it. It's almost time for Tom's performance.
"But we just wanted to say thank you so much to tonight's guests and thank you to all our guests and contributors who have taken part in the show this year.
Also thanks to everybody who works so hard behind the scenes to put this show together.

"But the biggest thanks of course goes to you for watching.
