The Harry Potter and the Cursed Child play picks up right where the last Harry Potter film left off: on Platform 9 3/4, where Harry Potter, now married to Ginny Weasley and 19 years past the Battle of Hogwarts, is seeing his son Albus Severus off to his first year at the wizarding school.

Albus follows in his father’s footsteps, sharing a train car with a Weasley (rather, a Granger-Weasley, Hermione and Ron’s daughter Rose), but also meets Scorpius Malfoy, Draco’s son.
